The estimated quantity is twenty (20) packages (1000 tests per package) per year. The contract period is Date of Award through September 30, 2000. The determination to enter into a non-competitive contract is due to there is only one (1) known laboratory that manufacturers supplies for Bio Rad Variant II Testing System. The nature of this procurement is as such that Bio Rad Laboratory is the only responsible source who can meet our needs and no other supplies will satisfy the Laboratory Departments requirements.
