Sole Source IDIQ/Requirement Type Contract is for Engineering Services in support of the F-15 Avionics Intermediate Shop. Goverment furnished drawings and specifications are not available. The F-15 AIS performs functional testing and fault isolation diagnostics on over 200 avionics, antenna, radar transmitter, communication, navigation, and microwave Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). These test stations are located at 22 F-15 bases and must be maintained in order to repair F-15 LRUs. Due to the age of the AIS (1970s technology), the AIS test stations are obsolete and unsupportable. A requirement exists to investigate and correct these obsolescence problems in order to maintain reliability and supportability. There is also a requirement for the contractor to investigate and correct material deficiencies and vendor system incompatibility problems. To: Honeywell/Formally Allied-Signal No telephone requests.
