Entrance Channel between Stations -14+000 to -15+000 and -22+000 to -28+000. Dredging will consist of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of material with an option to dredge an additional 74,000 cy adjacent to the project. The project will construct an advance maintenance widener for the channel 100 feet wide to depth of -32 feet mlw, with a 1(V) on 5(H) side slope between the stations listed above. Materials expected to be encountered consist of predominantly sands, some silts and clays. All dredged material will be placed in nearshore disposal areas adjacent to the entrance channel. Estimated cost range of project is from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. Network Analysis System will be required.
