Department of Housing and Urban Development, Atlanta Office, has a
requirement for construction services to correct drainage and
foundation problems which includes the removal and reinstallation of
two porches and the replacement of a French Drain System. The Single
Family dwelling requiring these services is located at 1107 Cherry
Circle, Moody, AL 35004. Moody, AL is located 20 miles east of
Birmingham, AL. Purusant to Section 4104(b)(2) of the Federal
Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355), for
construction contracts greater than $25,000.00, but not greater than
$100,000.00, the contractor shall have two or more of the following
payment protections. These are payment bond, irrevocable letter of
credit, tripartite escrow agreement, certificates of deposit, or a
deposit of the types of security listed in FAR 28.204-1 and 28.204-2.
Before award of a contract, contractor shall provide evidence that to
HUD that this requirement has been met. This requirement is urgent and
HUD wishes to make an award as quickly as possible. If you have an
