The Air Force is requesting proposals for the renovation of Building 1426 at Hanscom AFB, MA. The scope of this project includes furnishing as required all the labor, materials, travel, equipment and services and performing all operations for the renovation of Building 1426. The principal items of work include, but are not limited to: Submittals, drawings, phasing plan, interior demolition, asbestos abatement, excavation, carpentry, new floor layouts, inventory of existing equipment, removal and storage of existing equipment and drapes, new interior finishes, cutting and patching, painting, carpeting, and cleaning. New room layouts, upgrade the heating and ventilation and air conditioning system, sprinkler system, interior piping and mechanical systems, Johnson Controls "Metasys" DDC system, testing, commissioning, and balancing. Exterior and interior electrical work, modification of the existing fire detection system, including installation of new equipment/devices, wiring, and testing of the entire system. All exiting utility meters shall remain operational. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. The period of performance for this project will be 300 calendar days. The solicitation will contain option items and an exclusionary period. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive a solicitation or award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after receipt of proposals, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
