This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. The Wiesbaden Regional Contracting Center, Germany, intends to procure non-personal services for performance of maintenance and services, parts installation, and furnishing the human resources necessary to operate and maintain the Government-owned TRAK Automated Fuel Service System (AFSS) at fuel points located throughout Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. The solicitation number is DAJA22-00-R-0008 and the solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. 3. The solicitation schedule is as follows: 0001: 9 months Full Service Remedial Maintenance (Repair) and Service Support of Government-owned TRAK Automated Fuel Dispensing and Management Systems, to be performed upon call by the Government, in accordance with the Statement of Work at Attachment 1. The fixed price includes man-hours, travel costs, repair parts and materials. This does not include components damaged due to accident, misuse, vandalism, or acts of God. Such parts shall be compensated as set forth under CLIN 0002. Services shall be performed at the locations set forth in Attachment 2. 0002: TRAK Automated Fuel Dispensing and Management System Repair Parts not covered by CLIN 0001, to be reimbursed at actual cost. The Government will establish a ceiling amount for this CLIN at time of award. 0003: 9 months Polling Services. Performance period for CLINS 0001 through 0003 is 24 January 2000 -- 23 October 2000. 1001: As CLIN 0001, 6 month option period. 1002: As CLIN 0002, 6 month option period. 1003: As CLIN 0003, 6 month option period. Performance period for CLINS 1001 through 1003 is 24 October 2000 through 23 April 2001. 2001: As CLIN 0001, 2nd 6 month option period. 2002: As CLIN 0002, 2nd 6 month option period. 2003: As CLIN 0003, 2nd 6 month option period.
