The project is for DESIGN/CONSTRUCT, WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD REPLACEMENT, HARRISON VILLA III, FORT LEE, VIRGINIA. The project consists of the demolition of 62 units of family housing and associated structures, units are arranged in a townhouse type configuration with up to 12 units in a single building. Construction of not less than 46 family housing units in the Harrison Villa Neighborhood. Units include 1200 sf 3 br and 1350 sf 4 br. Existing utilities and utility infrastructure are to be retained and may be reused. New utility mains and laterals will be required to support the new housing units. Base bid also includes tot lots, basketball courts, roadways, sidewalks, parking areas, and other features normally included in residential developments. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $6,000,000.00 and $8,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 680 calendar days. A preproposal conference is anticipated on this project for FEBRUARY 2, 2000: time and place will be forthcoming. The plans and specifications are available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. It has been determined that the number of Compact Disks be limited to one (1) per firm.
