consists of the removal of approximately 400,000 cubic yards of dredged
material comprised of maintenance material from project to required
depths of 14 to 17 feet (below mean low tide) and 2 feet of allowable
overdepth for the navigation channel; and required depth of 30 feet and
2 feet of allowable overdepth for the impoundment basin. Material will
be deposited in designated beach placement area. The plans and
specifications will be available on compact disc only. Subcontracting
goals for the Galveston District are 61.2% Small Business; 9.1% Small
Disadvantaged Business and 5.0% Woman-Owned. The cost range for this
