This project requires that the contractor provide and install a 15KV Metal Clad switchgear switching station which will consist of five 1200A vacuum circuit breakers. The switching station will be located next to an existing electrical manhole. Installation will consist of construction of a concrete pad for the switchgear, a security fence around the switchgear, a duct bank connecting the switchgear to the manhole, and splicing of new cable into existing circuits in the manhole and connecting them to the switchgear. This project also includes the installation of two 15KV, 600A pole mounted air switches and relabeling of circuits in approximately 15 different manholes.
