AMCOM proposes to acquire from Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Inc. on an other than full and competitive basis, 28 each Radar Frequency Inteferometer (RFI) Processors, Part Number 213A175-1, and 27 User Data Modules (UDMs), Part Number 213A2000-1. The RFI processors will be used to replace existing Lots 1 and 2 configuration 1750 based processors. The UDMs will be used to provide operational float hardware to support rapid reprogramming of the RFI emitter database. The total estimated price for this action is $2,868,000. As an option AMCOM may also acquire 1 each RFI Antenna, Part Number 1323850-1, 1 each RFI receiver Part Numnber 13283900-1 and 1 each set of cables, Part Numbers 13283802 and 13283803. This option is unfunded at this time. The data needed to acquire these parts competitively are not physically available; they cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation.
