This procurement is for the purchase of Rear Fan Ducts applicable to the F100 engine. The Rear Fan Duct is 36" diameter by 42" long. The Rear Fan Duct forms the outside shell of the F100 engine. It provides mounting structure for engine controls and accessories. It is made primarily of titanium alloy. It is anticipated that a three year firm fixed price requirements type contract will be awarded. The BEQ is 133 each for year one, 78 each for year two, 79 each for year three and 75 each respectively for years four and five. These BEQ's include both USAF and FMS requirements. The total five year estimated value is $38,145,800. A written solicitation will be issued o/a 4 Jan 00. All requests for copies of the solicitation must be received in writing.
