58 -- MICROWAVE TRANSCEIVER SOL 00Q0025 POC April Delancy, Contracting Officer, (202) 406-6940 The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 with Southwest Microwave, 9055 South McKemy Street, Tempe, AZ 85284-2946, for the purchase of portable microwave transceivers. Southwest Microwave is the developer of the original transceivers used in this security application and is the sole source of conforming replacements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. Award is anticipated within thirty (30) days. See Note 22.
