J -- MAINTENANCE, REPAIR & REBUILDING OF EQUIPMENT SOL W4AE04-0390-1111 DUE 010700 POC Kathy McFarland-Mason, 505-678-5912 WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE seeks to identify responsible sources and obtain information in regard to full-time maintenance on an existing Synelec Prism Graphics Display System at the U.S. Army TRADOC Analysis Center White Sands Missile Range. Maintenance description: The System has 12 DLP cubes. Period of maintenance 1 year. Service will be 5 days, 9 hours (Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.). The contractor will be on site responding to trouble calls within three working days. Scheduled maintenance shall be performed semi-annually to include the following Display Device: Cube Maintenance: clean and treat AR or AG screens, clean fresnel, service and align cube optics, clean or replace all serviceable filters, check and clean all serviceable connections, clean all serviceable components, clean and reseat all serviceable cables and connections. DPS Maintenance: remove and replace bulb as required, service and align DPS optics, focus DPS on projection screen, align and converge color components as required, clean all serviceable components, clean and reseat all serviceable cables and connections. Processing: clean all external and internal serviceable components, clean or replace all serviceable filters, clean and reseat all serviceable cables and connections. System: verify all cabling and connections, verify operations as per the original configuration and setup, restore original settings and configuration files as required. Corrective Maintenance services shall be unlimited. All parts shall be replaced at no cost to the Government. A factory-trained technician shall perform all services. Response PROCEDURES: This request for interested parties is for gathering information only. In order to minimize costs both to potentially interested parties and the Government, this notice is being issued to determine the interest and feasibility of proceeding with a formal request for proposals. Interested parties should provide a statement of interest on company letterhead (not to exceed 20 pages in length) to: Natividad Cereceres, Bldg 126W, AMSSB-ACW-C, WSMR, NM 88002-5201. The statement shall include as a minimum the following criteria: (1). Capability and experience in performing maintenance on a Synelec Prism Graphics Display System. Elaborate proposals or pricing information is neither required nor desired. Any innovative and new conceptual ideas to achieve the stated objective are encouraged. No solicitation document exists for this request for "Sources Sought".
