A written solicitation will be issued. The RFQ number is N00140-00-Q-0594 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-12 and DFARS 19991118. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The FISC Detachment Philadelphia requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: PICK-UP, LAUNDER, AND DELIVER LINEN FOR: CLIN 0001 -- The Naval Hospital at Great Lakes, IL 60088 for a total of 325,000 pounds during base period of 1 February 2000 through 30 September 2000 AND for a total of 432,000 poundsfor each of four one-year option periods; CLIN 0002 -- The Naval Dental Center at Great Lakes, IL 60088 for a total of 69,000 pounds during base period of 1 February 2000 through 30 September 2000 AND for a total of 69,000 pounds for each of four one-year option periods. Delivery is 24-hours after the daily pick-up (excluding weekends and holidays). DoL Wage Determination 94-2167 (Rev. 17) applies. A requirements purchase order is anticipated. See Numbered Note: 1.
