The U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance & Logistics Command Pacific (MLCPAC) intents to contract for the design of USCGC POLAR SEA/STAR and installation of equipment for POLAR SEA with the option to contract for the installation of equipment for the POLAR STAR. The design effort for POLAR STAR shall start after award of contract.
