The transition will begin in August 2000. The average capacity of the Whitney Young Job Corps Center is 400 students: 200 are residential males and 200 are residential females. There will be a pre-proposal conference at the Whitney Young Job Corps Center on Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at 10:00 AM (EST), followed by a tour of the facility at approximately 11:00 AM.
