Work for this project will include, but is not limited to, a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property, such as carpentry, pavement repair, roofing, excavation, high and low electrical voltage, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, concrete, masonry, welding and mechanical systems, for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) at Columbus Air Force Base, MS. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish the project. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) with a 1 year Base Period and 4 one year Option periods. Magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The minimum/maximum delivery order limitations are set at $2,000.00 and $500,000.00 respectively. The total guaranteed minimum for the life of the contract is $200,000.00. This solicitation is a competitive 8(a) Set-Aside for Region 4 (AL,FL,GA,KY,MS,NC,SC and TN). All other offerors are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the size standard is $17,000,000. The solicitation will be entirely electronic and will be released on the Internet (Electronic Posting System (EPS)Web-site)address www.eps.gov on or about 18 Jan 00 with a closing date 40 calendar days after RFP issuance.
