to extend term of contract is 48 months, this procurement is
unrestricted, other than full and open comp (10 U.S.C. 2304 (1) (sole
source) FAR 6.302-1. Automated Best Value Model: the final contract
award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past
performance and other evaluation factors as described in the
solicitation. Additional Remarks: this package contains a total of 545
National Stock Numbers (NSNs) under Federal Supply Class 5365, Rings,
Shims and Spacers. The 545 NSN package is the first step in a process
that will eventually lead to placing approximately 10,000 NSNs on Long
Term Contract (five year term) agreements. The government intends to
enter into a long term contract(s)that will include a one-year base
period followed by four, one-year option periods. The estimated value
for these 545 NSNs for the base and option period is $14M. The
solicitation will include provisions for multiple awards so contracts
can be awarded on an NSN by NSN basis depending on the best value to
the government. A listing of all 545 NSNs, plus an additional 546 NSNs
that will be solicited in the future, and their respective
specification, qualification, manufacturer, part number, drawing
number, size, dimension or other form, fit and function descriptions
associated with the NSNs Procurement Item Description are available via

terms for stock deliveries will be identified in the solicitation.
Stock delivery terms range from 20 to 300 days depending on the NSN. In
addition to stock delivery, each NSN will provide for an optional
Direct Vendor Delivery from the contractor's storage location. For
