The Coast Guard Office of Aeronautical Engineering is seeking potential
sources for an automated aircraft position-reporting system. This
system should be capable of complete global coverage to include the
polar regions. If one system is not capable of meeting the full
requirement then a combination of systems is acceptable. System must
also be able to send text and graphics data from airborne aircraft to
various ground stations with a minimum latency of less than 1 minute.
This announcement is for information and planning purposes ONLY and is
not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Information
submitted should describe the contractor's capability and past
experience in performing the described services and will be used to
develop a source of potential offerors for possible future
solicitation. Your response must be submitted within 30 calendar days
from date of publication of this notice. Respondents will not be
notified of the evaluation of the information submitted. All interested
sources will receive a copy of the RFP, if issued. Address responses to
