a delivery order under contract N00019-99-G-1048 for a risk reduction
study and acquisition documentation for the CV-22 aircraft expedient
maintenance trainer (EMT) items. Bell-Boeing Joint Project office, Bldg
3193, 22398 James Rd. Patuxent River, MD 20670 will perform the effort.
This trade study will develop a risk reduction acquisition strategy,
specification, and to compile design criteria data for the CV EMT (Air
Force) items to complement the existing MV-22 naval aviation
maintenance trainer suite (NAMTS) (Marine). Bell-Boeing is the sole
designer and producer of the Air Force CV-22 aircraft, CV Full Flight
Simulator (FFS) and MV NAMTS. The Contractor is the only firm capable
of providing the CV EMT items trade study. Only Bell-Boeing possesses
the technical data, engineering expertise and the in-depth knowledge of
the design, manufacture, operational and performance characteristics of
the CV-22 aircraft, CV FFS and MV NAMTS to perform the CV EMT items
