The objective of this requirement is to obtain the necessary personnel, facilities, materials, equipment and services to perform Motorcycle Testing to evaluate the current state of braking performance and crash avoidance capabilities of motorcycle. The testing shall be conducted with new motorcycles with new OEM tires under controlled conditions (i.e. motorcycle test driver, asphalt surface coefficient, temperature...). The contractor shall conduct two identical tests on five different motorcycles. The contractor shall select the five motorcycles to be tested. For the second of the two tests, the contractor shall remove and replace the tires and worn brake components with new OE. In addition, the contractor shall provide in-sight to evolving technologies, crash avoidance issues, and associated safety and associate safety issues. The Government may require a demonstration test at the Offer's expense prior to Contract Award using the Testing Facilities, Materials, Personnel, and Equipments that the Offeror proposes to use in the performance of the contract. Manufactures of Vehicles and/or (brake) components to be tested are not eligible for award of this requirement. The contractor can use sub-contractors for the test effort. A period of performance for six (6) months is contemplated. Requests for this solicitation must be in writing.
