Saint Louis, Contracting Officer, 304/636-1800, ext. 265 The Wayne National Forest anticipates contracting for tree planting on the Marietta, Athens, and Ironton Ranger Districts in Athens, Hocking, Monroe, Lawrence, and Scioto Counties, Ohio. The work in the Marietta and Athens areas can be accomplished by hand or by machine; the work in the Ironton area must be accomplished by hand. There will be a total of 4 bid items to be awarded together or separately. The contract time is 30 calendar days and will run concurrently if multiple items are awarded. It is anticipated that work will commence approximately March 1, but will be dependent on weather conditions at the time. Pre-quote meetings will be held at each location; details will be available in the Request for Quotations. The contract is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.
