L -- TECHNICAL AND SPECIALIZED FABRICATION/PROCESSING OF PROTOTYPE ORGANIC MATRIX COMPOSITE MATERIALS SOL W813LT 9322-7027 DUE 123099 POC Jean Craig, Contract Specialist 410-278-6517 The contractor shall perform technical and specialized fabrication and processing services of prototype organic matrix composite material components in accordance with government specifications at the Army Research Laboratory, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 for the period of 31 January 2000 thru 30 January 2001. Contractor shall also provide technical support to munitions/artillery/ordnance and other Army-related programs conducted at government facilities and possess expertise in firing range operations in a research environment. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to John R. Brown, Conowingo, MD pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is to maintain continuity and required level of effort for the continued research efforts already established within the Army Research Laboratory. All proposals received within ten (10)days after dateof publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
