The contractor shall furnish all equipment, supplies, insurance, management, supervision, and labor in order to provide transporation services to applicants/inductees of the U.S. Armed Forces processing through the San Juan Military Entrance Processing Center (San Juan MEPS), located at GSA Building 651, Highway 28, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, 00968. The transporation services will be from the San Juan MEPS to the Munoz Marin International Airport (Monday thru Friday, except on federal holidays or other special days designated by the MEPS). Transportation services will be required to be available to depart the MEPS at approximately 1100 hours (11:00 a.m.). Contractor may be required to perform a second trip to the airport in the event individuals have been delayed. Contractor will transport from 1 to 30 plus inductees per day. In addition, contractor will provide transportation services from the San Juan MEPS to the designated hotel or hotels within a 12 mile radius of the MEPS (Monday thru Thursdays exceptfor federal holidays or other special days designated by the MEPS). A projection of 13 services may be required on Fridays. Contractor will transport 1 to 10 plus applicants/inductees per day. Contractor will arrive the MEPS no later than 1600 hours (4:00 p.m.)Transportation services will be required no later than 1600 hours and will depart to the designated lodging facility NLT 1630 hours (4:30p.m.). Period of performance: one base year and 4 option years. Contractor must be CCR registered and must have EFT. Contract award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder.
