16 -- REPAIR OF REPAIRABLES OF H-46 BALANCER ANALYZER KIT & H-1 VIBRATION ANALYZER SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (VASE) SOL N68335-00-R-0231 DUE 011000 POC Ms. Dianne Mount, 732-323-2903 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst NJ intends to place a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with the sole source of supply, Chadwick-Helmuth Company, Inc., El Monte CA for the purchase, modification, repair and calibration for components to the H-46 Balancer/Analyzer Kit, P/N P0372 and the H-1 Vibration Analysis Support Equipment (VASE). The following major components will require commercial depot level repair and calibration: (1) Balancer Analyzer P/N 10800-1 and 13930, (2) Signal Selector P/N 11130-1 and 13935, (3)Fastrak Optical Tracker P/N 11800-3 and 13945, (4) Strobex Blade Tracker P/N 13940 and (5)Photocell Probe P/N 13950. Chadwick Helmuth is the sole developer of the equipment and the only known source with the technical expertise and data necessary to repair the equipment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
