16 -- REPAIR OF REPAIRABLES OF C130/P3 PROPELLER VIBRATION BALANCER/ANALYZER SOL N68335-00-RFI-0355 DUE 011000 POC Ms. Dianne Mount, 732-323-2903 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst NJ intends to place a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with the sole source of supply, Chadwick-Helmuth Company, Inc., El Monte CA for the Repair Of Repairables (ROR) of C-130/P3 Propeller Vibration Balancer/Analyzer. The BOA will cover replacement parts and repair services to repair to the piece-part level of the following items: Balancer Analyzer P/N 10800-2, Signal Selector P/N 11518-1, Calibrator Model 11A, P/N 4819-1, DC Power Supply 24 Volt P/N 9100-2 and Cable Connector Box P/N 9245-1. Subsequent testing, adjustments and calibration of parts will be required as necessary. Chadwick Helmuth is the sole developer of the equipment and the only known source with the technical expertise and data necessary to repair the equipment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
