Marine Corps Direct Reporting Program Manager for Advanced Amphibious
Assault (DRPM-AAA) is requesting information from potential suppliers
of collapsible boat hooks. The purpose for the boat hook is to provide
the capability to fend-off or to assist with tethering an Advanced
Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV) while in the at-sea mode of
operation. The performance specification is available on the DRPM AAA
web page at www.aaav.usmc.mil under the Logistics section. The
specification describes the general physical, material and
environmental requirements for the boat hook. Interested parties should
review the specification and provide (a) information regarding the
existence of a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product that meets the
performance requirements or (b) interest in fabricating a product to
meet the requirements. Respondents are requested to reply by 15 Jan
