The contemplated contract action is Phase II of procurement of 50 each AGM-86D Conventional Air Launched Cruise Missile (CALCM) Penetrators. Phase I was the initial contract action utilizing an Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(2), Unusual and Compelling Urgency, excepted from synopsis by FAR 5.202(a)(2). Phase I activities included the development of integrated design layouts, wiring diagrams, structural and electrical production drawings, air vehicle item specifications and warhead item specification and procurement of long lead items. The action will incorporate a Contract Change Proposal (CP to the CALCM Replenishment contract with Boeing Military Aircraft & Missile Systems Group numbered F34601-99-C-0096. The last 50 each AGM-86C CALCM Block 1a on F34601-99-C-0096 will be modified to AGM-86D CALCM Penetrators. Phase II establishes the requirement for delivery of thirty (30) complete missiles and establishes a priced option for an additional twenty (20) complete missiles. The Government's desired delivery is 2 each February 2000 to support flight test, production deliveries to follow monthly. The approximate issue/response date will be 07 JAN 2000.
