The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for combat system engineering, activation, operations and maintenance services in support of Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC), Wallops Island, VA. This is a full and open competition. The total requirement is for 2,468 man-years of effort to be provided over a ten year period of performance. These services are currently being provided by Lockheed Martin Services, Inc. under contract no. N00024-94-C-5140, in support of AEGIS Combat System Center (ACSC), Wallops Island, VA, and by Planning Consultants, Inc. under contract no. N00178-95-C-3018, in support of Ship System Engineering Center (SSEC), Wallops Island, VA. ACSC and SSEC have merged into SCSC, and the two ACSC and SSEC contractual efforts have been combined into one SCSC requirement under solicitation N00024-00-R-5135.
