The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, CA., intends to award a contract for headstone and marker cleaning at the Golden Gate National Cemetery. Services to include labor, parts and equipment to clean approximately 101,500 headstones/markers. Period of performance is approximately eight (8) months (April 1, 2000 through November 30, 2000) with the possibility of two (2) option years. All equipment and supplies maintained and operated by the contractor shalal be consistent and fully compliant with all applicable Federal, State, County and Town laws, ordiances and regulations, and meet the State of California inspection, safety, licensing, registration, and insurance requirements. Contractor must carry worker's compensation and employees liability insurance (minimum $500,000 per occurrence) in compliance with State laws and, in addition, must carry liability insurance to cover any property damages or personnel injury resulting from wrok under this contract.
