The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division will be releasing a solicitation (N00178-00-R-1027) on a sole source basis to Raloid Corporation during the First Quarter of Calendar Year 2000 to provide for the production of Shroud Fragment Assemblies (SFA) and miscellaneous shroud and warhead hardware. These SFAs and hardware will be used to support development activities for the STANDARD Missile program. Raloid is the only qualified vendor and meets all program requirements for use of qualified and current STANDARD Missile vendors. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will have a period of performance not-to-exceed 4 years consistent with MK 45 Mod 12/14 and Land Attack Missile (LASM) developments. Any vendor who is currently qualified for the production of Shroud Fragment Assemblies (SFA) should submit evidence of certification to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attention: Code SD112, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 by close of business 13 January 1999;otherwise, Raloid Corporation will be the sole source for this acquisition. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore synopsis and resulting solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. Hard copies WILL NOT be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure they have downloaded all amendments. DoD will no longer award contracts to Contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base.
