Wickets are used as part of the movable dam and submerged on the Ohio River bottom until periods of low flow exist. The wickets are raised by a barge mounted derrick or maneuver boat and serve as the dam. The wickets are constructed of oak timbers, structural steel, steel castings and miscellaneous steel and stainless steel fasteners. Construction generally consists of but not limited to weldments, woodwork, millwork, assembly, etc. Delivery shall be FOB destination, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lock and Dam 52, 1153 West 3rd Street, Brookport, IL.
