The U.S. Army Communication Electronics Command, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(b)(1) will issue Solicitation DAAB07-00-R-J015 on a sole source basis to TRW, Inc., Redondo Beach, CA. This proposed sole source acquisition will be for up to 1250 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP)BCIS equipment sets and spares. This proposed acquisition will be implemented by awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type contract which will be structured with quantities separated into a base year and three one-year options. A Time and Material (T&M) contract line item will also be included. Numbered Notes 22 and 26 apply to this acquisition.
