This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO) for (only Stanley Storage Systems, Inc. products are acceptable). Stanley Storage Systems; SYSTEM #1: 3 each-42x36 add on bay, 6 each-72x36 add on bay, 1 each-single side access aisle, 1 each-4 foot cantilever overhand, 3 each-seismic bracing 42 inches, 6 each-seismic bracing 72 inches; SYSTEMS #2 and 3: 2 each-52x42 add on bay, 10 each-72x42 add on bay, 2 each-dual side access aisle, 2 each-4 foot cantilever overhang, 2 each-seismic bracing 42 inches, 10 each-sesmic bracing 72 inches; ACCESSORIES: 30 each-2KP 72x36 pallets, 60 each-2KP 72x42 pallets, 125 each MPL12-mag. labels; Installation of complete systems including cabinets, lighting package, stak add-on and mezzanine (not included in this order). The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 97-14. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 2542 and 500 employees respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA-DFRC is required within 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4:00 PM, January 7, 2000 to NASA-DFRC and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
