Reclamation, is interested in identifying potential sources for
professional services in the areas of water resources and environmental
planning. The Government anticipates awarding up to five indefinite
delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for services including
biochemistry, chemical analyses quality assurance, computer system
analysis and engineering, cultural and archeological resources,
economics, environmental resources, ground water, hydrology, irrigation
and drainage, irrigation suitability land classification, land and
recreation resources, land resource management plans, Native Americans,
oceanography, planning, public health analysis, public
involvement/social analysis and report preparation and editing. The
contracts are expected to include one base year and four option years
and to have yearly ceilings between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. The
Mid-Pacific Region is interested in identifying potential sources for
these services. Interested firms should submit a one to two page
statement of interest providing the firm's name, address, phone and fax
numbers, email address and point of contact. The statement should
indicate the firm's size status under SIC Code 8999, indicate the
firm's specialty areas, if any, and provide examples of the firm's past
experience in the types of services sought. Firms submitting statements
of interest will be automatically included on any future mailing list
to receive forthcoming solicitation documents. The statements of
interest may be either mailed to the above address, Attn: MP-3816,
faxed to (916) 978-5175, Attn: Susan Yarbrough or emailed to Ms.
Yarbrough at slyarbrough@mp.usbr.gov. Submitting this statement does
not prequalify a firm for follow on solicitations. Failure to submit
this statement will not exclude a firm from receiving or competing
under follow on solicitations. The solicitation to be issued will be a
request for proposals with a requirement for price and technical
proposals to be submitted for evaluation. It is anticipated that the
contracts will be awarded approximately October 2000. This is not a
request for proposals and there is no certainty that a solicitation or
