for Greater Seattle area is amended to incorporate the following
changes: Extend the closing date for receipt of proposals to February
4, 2000. The place of performance is amended to read the Greater
Seattle/Snohomish County, Washington area defined on the northern
border as the City of Marysville, the southern border is defined as the
City of Auburn and the Pierce/King County lines, the eastern border is
defined by Highway 18 and Highway 203, and the western border is
defined by the Puget Sound. Section B- Supplies or Services and
Prices/Costs is amended to define the services as four separate line
items. The contract type is amended to Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity for Line Items One, Two and Three. Line Item Four remains a
solicitation for a requirements type contract. Line Item One is to
provide a Comprehensive Sanction Center in the Greater Seattle or
Snohomish County area with a guarantee minimum of 45 beds and an
estimated maximum of 60 beds for the one-year base period and four
one-year option periods. Line Item Two is to provide a Comprehensive
Sanction Center in the greater Seattle or Snohomish County area with a
guaranteed minimum of 20 beds and an estimated maximum of 30 beds for
the one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Line Item
Three is to provide a Comprehensive Sanction Center in the Greater
Seattle of Snohomish County area with a guaranteed minimum of 65 beds
and an estimated maximum of 90 beds for the one-year base period and
four one-year option periods. All items will not be awarded. The
Government reserves the right to determine which line items will best
meet the needs of the Government. Interested parties may submit an
offer on either line items one, two, or three. If line items one and
two are awarded, line item three (90 beds) will not be awarded. Line
Item Four is for Transitional Drug Abuse treatment services for an
estimated 21 inmates. This line item is for an estimated 21 intake
assessments, 504thirty-minute individual counseling sessions and 3,528
thirty minute group counseling sessions. Line Item Four is for a
one-year base period and four one-year option periods. All interested
responsible parties may submit an offer which will be considered.
