Dry cleaning and laundry service for The Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA 17003. Service will be in a contractor owned/contractor operated facility. The plant will contain sufficient equipment to adequately perform in accordance with these specifications. The contractor shall furnish all management, labor, supplies, material, and other resources required to provide the service in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. All work under this contract shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications, amendments or revisionsm, and any other Federal Military specifications or Standards cited herein. All workmanship shall be in accordance with the best practices of the industry. The finished laundered and/or dry cleaned articles shall be in a serviceable and sanitary condition upon pickup or delivery. Visual inspection of finished articles shall determine that items are dry, clean, free of dust/lint, free of solvent/chemical odors, spots or stains, except those determined as being unremovable without damage to the color or fabric. Articles shall retain their original shape, color and dimensions allowing for normal shrinkage. None of the articles under this solicitation/contract require water repellent treatment. The contractor shall be responsible for packaging and marking all items to be serviced under this contract. Proposals offering a time of service within the applicable period specified will be evaluated on a best value basis. Items will be picked up and delivered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at different locations at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA. Period of performance is: 01 Mar 00 thru 30 Sep 00 as the base year with two option years of one (1) year intervals. SIC code is 7211.
