The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)SOLICITATION NUMBER 53SBNB060007 IS BEING ISSUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. The Facilities Services Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires on-site services to render optical images on photosensitive surfaces. The contractor shall provide display production support consisting of printing large format inkjet prints and the finishing processes of laminating, mounting, or backing. Digital imaging and electronic scanning of originals, electronic manipulation of images with Adobe PhotoShop. The tour of duty shall be 40 hours each pay period. The period of performance for this requirement is from January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2000 with an option for additional services at one week increments up to 15 weeks. This effort also includes an option to extend the period of performance for one additional year. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Request pricing be submitted as follows: Item 1 is to be priced on a monthly basis for services performed in accordance with the statement of work based upon 20 hours per week; Optional Quantity: Item 2 is for services performed on a weekly basis in accordance with the statement of work based upon 20 hours per week; OPTION YEAR ONE: Item 3 is to be priced on a monthly basis for services performed in accordance with the statement of work based upon 20 hours per week; Optional Quantity: Item 4 is for services performed on a weekly basis in accordance with the statement of work based upon 20 hours per week. Based upon offeror submissions, the government will be evaluating the following areas: (1) Understanding the Requirements and Technical Approach; (2) Past Performance.
