The Defense Supply Service -- Washington (DSSW), on behalf of the Office of Deputy Chief of Staff Operations & Plans (ODCSOPS) Special Events, intends to award a contract to provide hotel or apartment lodging during the period from 15 January 2002 through 31 March 2002 for the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games. The lodging facility should be convenient to the Olympic Village and Stadium in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Driving distance between the lodging facility and the stadium should be traveled within 30 minutes. It should provide one to two bedroom units/rooms. The total rooms required per day will not exceed 30. Rooms should include furnished kitchenettes and daily maid service. Lodging facility should have laundry and exercise rooms available, and also provide some rooms to accommodate trainers and dogs. Lodging facility should have a floating schedule, with a 12 hours notice for cancellation of rooms. No solicitation will be issued.
