This is an Emergency Watershed Protection project on DSR No. L-3, Big Thompson Ponds. Work consists of clearing and grubbing, approximately 410 cubic yards of common excavation, approximately 725 cubic yards of imported fill and approximately 1,150 tons or rock riprap. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 35 calendar days after issuance of a notice to proceed with work. No bid bond is required. Contractor awarded the contract will be required to provide an alternative payment security in the amount of 50% of the contract amount in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit within 7 calendar days of award of contract. USDA participates in the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program; therefore competition for this project is unrestricted and is not set aside for small business concerns.
