This is 100 percent set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3674 (Semiconductors and Related Devices), and Size Standard is 500. This is a prototype acquisition for the replacement of an obsolete and no longer available critical component for the M1A2 Program. Item must be designed, packaged and built to the White Sands Missile Range drawing # W99M55166 and carry the part # W99M5516601EPX. Contractor must use Texas Instruments Part Die SMJ55166 or a replacement die meeting all form, fit, and function requirements, and must perform preliminary screening of the article prior to delivery. Each part must be manufactured under MIL-883E and MIL-H-38534, both of which entail stringent screening and qualification testing. The drawing requires MIL-STD-883 compliance as well as the use of a non-JAN class level B microcircuit in accordance with MIL-PRF-38535 to meet program weapon system requirements. No variations in quantity, no options and no substitutions are authorized. Government retain all data rights to the specifications, drawings, and design effort to ensure competition can be obtained for any future acquisitions of this component.
