This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. DAHA22-00-T-0011 Applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This is an unrestricted solicitation. The following is a statement of work for the required services. The Mississippi Army National Guard runs a series of network switches through the state. They include: One Lucent Definity G3R Release 6.0 at Jackson with Expansion Port Networks at Tupelo, Camp McCain, Grenada, MS; Meridian, Hawkins Field, Jackson, MS; Raymond Road, USPFO and Monticello, MS and one Lucent Definity G3R Release 6.0 with three Expansion Port Networks at Camp Shelby (Hattiesburg, MS), MS. This equipment is currently out of warranty. The successful offeror will be required to provide an annual maintenance contract to support monitoring, repairs, replacements parts and on-site visits for the Lucent switches. The successful offeror must provide 365 day a year, 7 day a week, 24-hour monitoring of each switch via a point to point connection at vendors expense. Provide immediate notification of alarms in switch to the office of Information Management (NGMS-IMT-T). Provide remote repair when possible. Provide on site repairs within 24 hours to each site. Provide a discounted price for software upgrades to switches and Provide replacement parts for items covered in maintenance contract. The successful offer must cover all monitoring, repairs and on site visits as specified. The successful offeror must provide remote monitoring through a point to point connect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On site technical service when necessary within 24 hours. On site technical support throughout periods of a national or state emergency. Software upgrades at a discounted price and repair parts for items covered under contract. The Government will provide to the successful offeror two Lucent Definity G3R switches and Ten Expansion Port networs at Raymond Road, Jackson, MS, Hawkins Field, Jackson, MS, Monticello, MS, Meridian, MS, Tupelo, MS, Camp McCain (Grenada, MS),MS; BOQ's at Camp Shelby (Hattiesburg, MS) MS; RTI at Camp Shelby (Hattiesburg, MS) and Building 1001 at Camp Shelby (Hattiesburg, MS) MS. The successful offeror will have access to Government Facilities between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. For access at other times, the successful offeror must coordinate with the office of Information Mangement (NGMS-IMT-T). The successful offeror must not provide monitoring via a dial up connection. The successful offeror must accomplish all work via technical specifications provided by Lucent Technologies. The successful offeror must notify the Mississippi Army National Guardwhen they have completed any repairs.
