USAID/El Salvador intends to contract the Salvadoran Foundation for Economic and Social Development (FUSADES) to carry out the Year 2000 Poverty Survey and analyze its results. A sole source contract action is anticipated based on onoy one responsible source and no other serice will satisfy agency requirements because of FUSADES' experience and knowledge with two prior survey efforts and the need to undertake a new survey with identical methodology and same sample households to make results comparable.
