SPECIAL NOTICE OF NEW MED/SURG ELECTRONIC CATALOG/ORDERING (ECAT)PROGRAM AND SOLICITATION The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) Medical Directorate intends to introduce a Med/Surg ECAT program that complements out existing Dental, Laboratory (LIDS) and Optical ECAT ordering platforms. The ECAT program is a web based mulit-vendor electronic catalog (ECAT) and ordering system. The Med/Surg ECAT will provide DSCP Med/Surg customers worldwide efficient and cost effective access to products that they do not obtain under the DSCP Med/Surg Prime Vendor distribution program. To determine the Med/Surg industry's interest in initiative, DSCP will issue a letter providing general program information and requirements. Interested parties are requested to contact Ms. Helen Connor at 215-737-2134 (phone) or at her email address hconnor@dscp.dla.mil for a copy of the letter or to be added to the resultant solicitation's bidder's list.
