W -- PURCHASE OF PRESSURE BLASTERS SOL M67004-00-Q-0004 DUE 010700 POC Sgt Renfroe, Code 89-1, (912)439-6715 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is restricted to small businesses. The following is a list of requirements: (3) GLOVE BOX, CABINET TYPE PRESSURE BLASTERS, RECLAIMER AND CABINET TYPE DUST COLLECTORS WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: Machine to be manufactures current design. Maximum outside dimensions including reclaimer and dust collector are not to exceed 79 inches deep by 74 inches wide by 98 inches high or and overall foot print not to exceed 59 square feet. Cabinet minimum inside workarea to be 35 inches deep by 47 inches wide by 36 inches high. Minimum door opening to be 32 inches high by 29 inches wide. Minimum number of doors is two. Minimum return hose inside diameter 4 inches. Minimum dust hose size inside diameter 6 inches. Cabinet to be constructed of a minimum 14-gauge steel with welded seams. Cabinet to have a minimum of four inch leveling bolts on bottom of legs. Bottom of working area for inside of blast cabinet to be a minimum of 3/16 inch thick perforated steel plate with a minimum weight capacity of 1000 pounds. Doors are to be constructed of double panels with self-adjusting latches, OSHA safety interlocks and flush panels. Reclaimer shall be constructed of a minimum of 14-gauge steel and have a 400 CFM at 6' SP ventilation system powered by a 1 horse power 115 volt single phase 60 Hz electric motor. The reclaimer shall have a door for filling and shall have externally adjusted turning bands. Dust collector shall be of the cabinet type with sock type filters and manual shaker. Controls shall be a minimum of on/off ball type valve; moisture separator, adjustable air pressure regulator, indicating gauge, and foot activated air control valve with safety foot cover. Window shall be a minimum of 14 inches by 22-inch safety glass with rounded corners, glass and frame shall be maintained in place by locking knobs. Window shall be supplied with an air stream across its face to maintain visibility. Interior lighting shall be a minimum of two 150-watt adjustable mounted spotlights with dust tight fixtures. Gloves shall be 8-inch felt-lined, static dessipating type. Blow off gun shall be OSHA approved. Machine shall be equipped with one 24 inch manual turntable rolling on track that extends to the outside of the cabinet. Machine shall have all hoses, valves, fittings, nozzles, separators, media controls and pressure valves, to ensure operation once air and media are installed. System shall be designed as a pressure blast system to operate on a maximum of 100 psi. air pressure. System shall be provided with all drawings, blue prints, manuals, schematics, and instruction for the assembly, operation and maintenance of the blast system. System shall be painted in the manufactures standard paint color. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, MCLB Albany, GA 31704 with inspection/acceptance at destination. Delivery will be coordinated with requesting activity, after award. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Offerors responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items. The offeror should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be eligible for award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
