E-MAIL: Aileen Broider, abroider@hrsa.gov. The Health Resources and Services Administration, HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Johns Hopkins Hospital, 600 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21287. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to provide assistance in the preparation of a clinical manual entitled "The Guide to Clinical Management of Women with HIV." The contractor shall: serve as the coordinator of the process in addition to providing expert input into the content of the manual. In brief, the contractor shall sign on authors and give them direction and feedback on their formats and content which will lead to the final draft of the document. The contractor shall meet with the authors and confer with them via email and conference call, as necessary, to edit the final draft and produce the final document. Additionally, the contractor shall work with HAB to produce,market, and disseminate the final manual. The Johns Hopkins Hospital is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is seven months.
