The intended source is Midcon Cable Company, Joplin, MO, which is the only source possessing the technical data and corporate knowledge required to fabricate these harnesses. It is the intent of this agency to exercise an option for 87 each additional harnesses. The authority for other than Full and Open competition is FAR 6.302-1.
