E-MAIL: Robert Powell, robert.powell@dyess.af.mil. This project calls for various repairs and/or complete reconstruction to airfield pavements (runway, taxiways, parking ramp) at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work may include but is not necessarily limited to: 1) Portland cement concrete and hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement section replacement, 2) installation of asphalt overlays, 3) installation of pavement markings, 4) rubber removal, 5) spall repairs and 6) milling/grinding of pavement surfaces. This project will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract with a guaranteed minimum of $500,000. Unit prices will be taken for the base year and three (3) option years. The estimated contract magnitude is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This procurement is unrestricted and open to both large and small business. The applicable Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code for this procurement is 1611 with a small business size standard of $17 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Jan 00 on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available.
