The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) at Sheridan, Oregon, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for English-speaking Catholic Priest services with The Province of St. Augustine in California c/o Fr. Ray Elam, O.S.A. The contractor must be endorsed by the local diocese as a Catholic Priest in good standing and must be assigned by the local diocese to serve as a Priest at FCI Sheridan. The Government knows of no other source. The period of performance is for a base year plus four option years with the base year beginning February 1, 2000. The schedule will normally consist of two one-hour sessions per week. The usage amounts shown are estimates only and do not constitute a Bureau of Prisons usage guarantee nor a guarantee that conditions affecting the requirement will remain stable or normal. This is a Simplified Acquisition with an estimated value of less than $10,000 per year. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. Interested firms or individuals may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
