THE DUE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF QUOTES HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON JANUARY 6, 1999. CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS PROVIDED. THE FOLLOWING CHANGES AND INFORMATION ARE INCORPORATED INTO THE DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK for Phase 1 and Options 1 through 4: 24 hour a day access to the Boulder City sewage treatment ponds and the Hoover Dam evaporation ponds may be provided IF ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS (such as lighting requirements) at Hoover Dam and at the Boulder City sewage treatment ponds ARE SATISFIED. There is NO OUTDOOR LIGHTING at the Hoover Dam evaporation ponds or at the Boulder City sewage treatment ponds. The wastewater/sludge to be pumped, transported, and emptied into the Boulder City sewage treatment ponds has less than 5% sludge. Hoses for pumping and emptying the wastewater/sludge will be required. Requirements for Options 1 through 4: The Contractor shall begin work within 72 hours after notification that an option is to be exercised and shall complete all work within 15 calendar days after commencement for each option. There are no tipping or disposal fees to be paid by the Contractor for Phase 1 or Options 1 through 4.
